Morning Lessons
TERM 1 – 8 Weeks, Tuesday 28th January 2025 to Thursday – 20th March, 2025
Lessons are from 9am to 12 noon daily from Tuesday to Thursday (excluding Fridays, Saturdays, Mondays and Sundays), and one evening lesson on Wednesday from 6pm till 9pm.
Cost:
weekly 3 hour lessons x 8 weeks = $440. If starting later in the term ($60 for 3 hour lesson x remaining weeks of term).Casual rates are $70 for 3 hours (includes all art supplies).. Term fees must be paid before the term commences. After completion of the first lesson students are given a list of art materials to purchase before commencing the second lesson. Students who choose not to bring their own art materials will pay a $20 fee per lesson for use of the tutors art materials. Art materials are also available to purchase from the art tutor. Students who miss lessons are welcome to make up those lessons at another time/day within 3 weeks of the missed lesson (up to three lessons allowed). It is the student’s responsibility to discuss with me arrangements to make up these lessons. Lessons can only be made up when a position is available, numbers cannot exceed 8 students per lesson. Make up lessons are scheduled weekly when other students are not attending their regularly classes (ABSENT). Missed classes do not get carried over to the next term.
Evening Lessons
Wednesday 29th of January, 2025 finishing Wednesday 29th of March, 2025.
Wednesdays 6pm – 9pm.
Class Details:
I cater for all levels (absolute beginners to advanced) to learn Acrylic, Oils, Watercolour, Mixed Media, Pen and Ink, Potassium Painting, Liquid Acrylics, High Flow Acrylic Pouring, Gouache and Pastel Painting. Drawing lessons are available for pencil, Watercolour pencil, charcoal, Conte, oil pastels and pastels.
Art parties are small with a limit of ten students per class. I teach students working with different mediums in each class, students are allowed to try various mediums within the 8 week course to get a feel for each medium and make their choice of the medium they prefer as they go along. My goal is for you to learn step by step to foster confidence in your ability and create a wonderful piece of artwork in a small amount of time.
The classes are held in a beautiful tropical setting in a small art studio, lessons are relaxed and casual with relaxing music and healthy, light refreshments for morning and afternoon tea.
