PASTELS OR CONTE
A dry medium with a pure powdered pigment and a binder. Can be used for portraits, animals, landscapes, botanical or buildings. It has a soft, feathered texture.
What to bring:
- 2 – A4 or A3 (approximate) pieces of pastel paper, 1 smooth and 1 with texture(tooth)
- 1 set of pastels, Rembrandt, Daler-Rowney soft pastels or Schmincke
- 1 set of paper stumps
- 1 old cloth or tea towel
- 1 – 2B pencil
- 1 metal ruler
- 1-2 hole sharpener
- 1 knead able rubber
- 1 roll of masking tape
